Kuchisake-onna (口 裂 け 女) The Slit Mouth Woman

Kuchisake-onna (口 裂 け 女) or The Slit Mouth Woman is a kind of demon in Japanese mythology and urban legend. He intangible woman who closes her mouth ripped with a fan, a scarf or surgical mask (the most popular version). He often appears on the deserted streets and ask people who met whether she was beautiful. When the man answered no or see the manifestation of the horror fear he would kill him.

In the legend said that Kuchisake-onna, being a young woman who lived in the Heian Period. Likely she is a wife or a concubine samurai.
